Could it be?

A little bit of excitement over the weekend here.  THERE IS NO BABY HERE. (yet).  However, let me tell you what did happen.  Saturday, McKenna and Dave were busy at home cleaning, organizing, and doing a little home repair.  All day long.  (Can you say, "Nesting"?)  Eventually, they made their way over to our house where they have their trailer stored.  Along with all the cleaning at home, they organized their camping equipment that they needed to put into their trailer.  Kenna came inside to the house to visit a bit but she was so uncomfortable either standing or sitting.  She claimed that her low back was aching.  Rubbing it or trying to stretch the muscles was not working at all.  In fact, she became nauseous.  Cold towel around the back of her neck...the whole schpiel.  After an hour or so, she thought that she would be ok to go home.  "Call us if you need anything!!"  At 10:30pm, she called asking what it felt like when your water breaks.....I explained to her but also told her that if there were ANY questions or doubts, to head over to the hospital.  And they did just that!

No, her water didn't break but the staff checked her out and guess what?  She was having contractions every 3 minutes and she was dialated to a 1.  McKenna says that now she knows what a contraction feels like.  (Yeah, and they get worse more uncomfortable!)

She sees the OB today for her regular check up and I'll report any and all new information here today for all of you!

  1. As I emailed you...it's a race to the finish...Handy Mandy is at 2/50%/labor station -2...part of me wants baby to hurry up and get here, part of me wants everything to go as planned; i.e. we arrive as scheduled on 2/22 and baby comes anytime after we land in Lawton...
