Gramma Dee and Grampa Bob

This past weekend, Camden et al, flew to Colorado for a little family reunion.  He got to see cousins, aunts, uncles, and GRANDPARENTS!  Yea for Grandparents!!  In family resemblence, I've always felt that little Camden takes after his Daddy and his Grampa Bob.

Camden is getting better and better at balancing himself sitting up.  Occasionally, he'll kick his legs out upsetting that delicate balance and fall back into my stomach, but hey, that's ok, too.

Yes, that's Papa changing Camden's diapers and getting him ready for bed.  We were visiting our friends with Camden along.  It became time for nighty-night and Papa took over.  Yea, Papa!

Leaps and bounds

We have a door frame in our house that up until now, only had Camden's cousin, Sammy's measurements.  We only mark height every 6 months, so Sammy has 4 marks.  Camden's very first mark was put on the door frame with 27 inches.  Here Papa is showing him how tall he is.

Falling asleep

When my own children were babies I would always rock them until they fell asleep.  Also, I always would stroke their faces and scalp very lightly.  To this day I always do that to babies.  Mommy tells me that Camden loves it.  Yes, he certainly does.

Snooze Cruisin'

While I was preparing a birthday dinner for Camden's great grandmother, Papa took care of little one here.  Think he looks comfy?  Take another look...

Mommy is starting to feel separation anxiety.  She leaves this weekend for a week in Hawaii and little guy gets to stay with Mimi and Papa.

Sunday afternoon drive

Sunday was the last day of Hot August Nights and the family decided to go cruising around for awhile.  First they stopped here.  Why?  Because of that camera thing I have?  Need photos!!!

Changing station at your service

It was time to get out of jammies and into something more summery.  Which he promptly peed on.

Ok, so part of the time spent fishing was also spent napping.  Because you have to go out 'early' to catch fish.  Early being the crack of 9a.m.

I had Mommy stand in front of this sign along with Uncle Tippy when they were little children.  Guess who's turn it is now?

I just love Camden's eyes.  They always look like they are on a verge of a smile (and they are) but they also have some inquisitiveness about them.
