What are these?

I showed Camden the many benefits that pockets have for little boys.  For the rest of the day, he kept at least one choo-choo train in his cargo pant pocket.

PINECONE!  Papa has always played 'kick what ever is in our path' with anyone he's walking with.  This time is was a little pinecone that he showed Camden how to kick.  He got pretty good at it.

Mama got sneaky and took a photo of Camden and I taking a little snappy nap together.  He snores.

Kryptonite Poisoning

Camden's Papa can't go clothes shopping with me because he says the lighting in the stores gives him Kryptonite poisoning.  I think someone else has that inherited gene....

The Bacon King

I must now keep a handy snack of bacon around all the time.  He has become addicted to it!  Good boy!

My Monkey Man

Yesterday Camden decided that he would climb.  EVERYTHING.  If he could pull himself up onto it, he would.

The Evacuees

Most of you know by now that our city has been struck twice by wildfires during a season that normally doesn't see that type of thing.  This latest wildfire happened south of the city in an area where Camden lives with Mama and Daddy.  They had to evacuate to our house last night.  As of this writing, Friday morning, the fire is only 50% contained and has completely destroyed 20+ homes.  They are lifting the evacuation area where they live and they will be able to return home this morning.  The weather is cooperating with a huge wet storm approaching this afternoon, but in the mean time, wind will hamper the fire fighting efforts.

The feeling is mutual

Camden was so excited to see BOTH of his cousins this morning!  They all sat on  the stairway and 'sang' at the top of their lungs.

Papa and Camden go out to feed the dogs in the late afternoon when Camden is here.  Papa thought that he needed a jacket that would be kept here for just those occasions.  This was his first time in it.

After throwing a toy behind that chest several times and me retrieving more than I can count, I made him go back there to get it.  Me, getting stuck in the position would be traumatizing for him.

New Car Seat

 Camden has graduated to the front facing car seat now.  He can see his Mama rocking' out to the music and he joins her, bopping his head.

And apparently, the seat is really, really, really comfortable!

Playtime in the park

Camden spent the day at the park with Mama and Daddy.  He loves being outside just like his parents do.

Mama sent these photos to me and after I got done laughing, one of the things that I noticed was the Duke ball in the background.  Uncle Tippy won't like but Auntie will!

At the Park with Mama and Daddy

 Our weather is not winter-like here at all.

 So that makes park going easier than ever.  No snow to brush off swings.  No ice to slip on.

And no bulky coats to wear!
