It's Daddy's

Camden loves trying on all clothes, shoes, and hats....no matter the size.  These are Daddy's slippers.

The Hat

Normally, little ones don't like to wear hats, but Camden loves to wear them.  This one he pulls down over his eyes with just a little slit to see through.  He is so funny!

Fair is Fair

If your cousin has to play with cars and trucks now, you have to deal with a ribbon on occasion.  No tutus, though.

Camden knows exactly where Mimi keeps the toys if they aren't out when he arrives here in the morning. He goes to the closet, opens the door and digs in.  And then they get scattered from here to there and back again!

Tick tock

Since a certain someone has learned how to say clock based on the chiming that goes on once an hour, he has now begun to run out to it when it does go off.  He points up to the clock face and I don't know why. Perhaps he thinks it's a coo coo clock and a little bird will come out and sing the hour?

His favorite book

Camden loves to 'read' books.  Sometimes they ARE upside down while he is reading them but that's ok. This is his favorite book so far here.  It's all about ladybugs and counting said bugs.  He's not that interested in ladybugs but the other animals that are on the page that he can say.  He says 'turtle' and 'duck' and 'xisleih75cl' and I still haven't figured out that one yet.  Papa likes to point out all the different animals in the book and tell Camden that they will either fish for them or hunt for them.  Men.

Who is this guy?

Some kids are entranced with people in large costumes like Shamu here and then again, some kids are not.  I was a 'are not' kid as well as my children are 'are not' kids.  Apparently, Camden wasn't thrilled with this guy either.

Don't let go!

Camden was interested in watching the penguins at Sea World but only as long as Daddy held on tight!

Sea World

Camden is entranced with the below-the-scenes aquarium.  He kept his eye on this turtle!  And now he can say Turtle.

My! What big TEETH you have!

A stop at Sea World and an exhibit about sharks.  That's why I'm a landlubber.  Sharks.  EWW.

This is about the only way he'll get on a skateboard and move.  I can't see him standing on one yet!

Mama is getting some of the stored baby stuff out of the closets.  What will she need for the new baby come January?  Camden is helping as only he can.  He needs to try everything on, first, you know!

Bring it!

Grampa Bob and Gramma Dee sent Camden a little snow beanie and gloves.  He's getting ready for some snowmobiling this winter!!

Fishing is a contact sport....

 Daddy and Mama decided to take Little Man out fishing this weekend.  

 He got to use the fishing pole his Papa bought him this past summer in Yellowstone Park.

 It was a near by pond to go to with plenty of HUGE fish Camden could catch.  Right.

 Daddy helped him with the line and sinker.

 He was very patient as good Trouters are supposed to be.

 Mama loved seeing her two guys out fishing.

 And then?  Disaster struck.  Camden tripped over a rock and got a great big Owie on his head.

He shook it off, of course.  He's a guy.  They do things like that.

Which way to the Yukon?

Since the weather here is changing this week, Camden is getting ready for the worst!
