The only one

This is the only cabinet that I'll let the little ones play in.  Camden loves to crawl into it and kick the plastic cups out!

A comb over

Last week I decided to try to comb what little hair Camden had.  I had to get it wet first to even see the combing over the over.

The sugar high didn't kick in until 10pm.

Although he tasted and swallowed the chocolate frosting Daddy gave him, he didn't dive into the whole thing.  Yes, he spilled all over his clothes the way he should for a first birthday and he used a very special event plate his Aunt and Uncle gave him.

One year ago today, this little guy entered our lives and our hearts. 

Tape. Always a laugh a minute.

Much like putting a fingerfull of peanut butter on the roof of a dog's mouth, giving a child a piece of tape and watching their reaction to it always makes me laugh.  A lot.

A hat for all seasons

He looked so darn cute in this hat but before I could get him to smile, he decided that the hat had to go.  He's getting to that 'stage' where he'll pull them off if he isn't distracted by something else first.

Papa, if he ate that that you're trying to give him, I'd need the Hazmat team to change his diapers.

Happy Valentine's Day!

What child labor laws?

Look, I merely set him on the floor, gave him a wet cloth and said, "Time to pay for your upkeep, kid.  This floor is dirty"  Of course, only a few inches of floor space got a swipe, but it's a start.

Window cleaning. Again.

The division of labor here at Mimi and Papa's house suits me just fine.  I don't do the windows, Papa does, so seeing little Cambino, here, touching and tasting the windows just makes me smile.  And then when Papa comes home I point out the fact that "jeez, those windows look dirty.  Again."

No double dribble!

I don't know how coaches do it...no matter what I say, he still uses both hands to dribble.

Well, of course he is....

...showing his grandson the way to ride an ATV, sans helmut, seat belt, roll over cage, knee pads, elbow pads, fire suit, full body bubble.   This was only for me and my camera, Camden didn't much like the noise or the gas smell.   Mommy was right there trying to get him to smile for me, but he really was apprehensive about this. 

NYC

A quick weekend trip to New York City in December for some shopping and sightseeing.  Quite a latitude change, wasn't it?  Thank God they were there before all this snow mess the city is having now!

Bridges!

Mommy and Daddy know that I have an irrational fear of crossing bridges.  Naturally, given this opportunity, they knew that I would cringe (and I did) when I saw this photo.  Really?  You had to take a bridge crossing photo just to scare me?

What's missing here?

It seems to me that the only thing missing is a photo of Mommy and Daddy on the teeter totter as well....

Back in time

Mommy and I have FINALLY got our acts together and I am now the proud owner of a flash drive with over 1100 photos on it from their autumn vacations.  I'll be weeding my way through all of this during the  week. 

Here he is in Costa Rica for Thanksgiving.  I don't know about you, but my Thanksgivings were never tropical.
