Another feat!

Camden has learned out to drink out of a straw now.  Mommy makes yummy smoothies for him that he slurps up.  It's really cute to watch.

A visit

Camden's Aunt Courtney was in town all the way from Colorado.  She stopped by to cuddle with her little nephew and marvel at how big he's become since last year.

He did it!

This little 6 inch step is a big deal to someone just learning to crawl.  But Camden put on his big boy panties, oh, alright, Camden put on his yellow diapers (happy?) and crawled up all on his own.  Now, getting back down was something entirely else.  Face plant anyone?

Happy face

Camden has been under the weather this past week, hence no updates here.  He has been teething...his eye teeth.  The horrible, hurtful ones.  Finally, he has come out from the storm clouds, has been eating again and is happy.  The horrible, hurtful teeth?  Still haven't popped out but they aren't bothering him today!

Team Camden for me

Yes, my little grandson looks like a vampire, doesn't he?  But no, he was having a few bites from a beet.

Hmm, how is this done again?

Normally, this toy is out when his cousin is over and she knows the ins and outs of playing with it.  On this day, he had it all to himself and you can see his consternation.  "How does she sit here?"  "How do I lift my leg over this thing?"  But I loved the fact that he decided the best approach was to STAND to try to figure it out.

Putting it in four wheel drive

Now that he is crawling (all over, I might add!), he thinks nothing of crawling over me to get to all those cords my computer has dangling, enticing him closer.

New toys!

Whenever I go shopping for Camden, I have keep my eyes open looking for new boy toys.  I found more little cars the other day and this was his first time playing with them.  They travel pretty far when they are thrown!

My vote is brown

I'm pretty sure that his eyes are finally the color that will stay.  Brown.  Like his Mommy's.  Like mine.  Lucky little guy!
