Out for Sushi

We went out for sushi Sunday night and Camden was interested in much of what was on the table.  Including chopsticks.  After that, though, it was time for bed and he started to fade...........

Getting stronger

Camden is still not a fan of tummy time but he is getting stronger by doing it every day.  He holds himself up with his arms for several minutes now looking around.  He's kicking his legs but hasn't grasped the concept of getting them under to lift himself up yet.  Give it time, right?

Heavy sigh

When I look at this shot of Camden I just want to grab that little face and kiss his head.  Unfortunately, he isn't right here for me to do that.  ::sigh::

One, two, three!

Yes, do the counting.  The counting of the children.  I'll wait.  :::tap, tap, tap:::  I babysat all three kids.  AT ONCE.  With no help.  No cages.  No whips.  Nothing.  And?  It was wonderful.  A little crazy perhaps, because the Under-Age-Three Crowd outnumbered me.

Mommy, Daddy, and Camden ran and strollered in the annual RGJ race...four years ago on this date, we met Daddy for the first time.  Guess who was most nervous about that meeting?

C'mon, Mom!

As Mommy was taking photos of her two 'kids', you can tell that they were getting antsy for her to finish so that they could continue playing with each other.  This is the 'look' all parents get from their kids when the kids are losing patience with their parents.

And the fun begins

Camden's older cousin, Sammy loves playing with balloons and has shown him just some of the things you can do with them.  Like hitting him in the head with it.  But at this age, he thinks it's funny.  That'll change.

...or in this case, robe.  Camden snuggled up into Mama's robe and decided a nap was a good thing to do so she let him have his cuddly snooze in it.

Who Me?

Little man loves his ExerSaucer thing....that is if he's in the mood, otherwise don't even think about putting him in it.  It makes wonderful noise to keep him occupied for a little while so Mama can get stuff done around the house.

Ready Swim

This is Camden's second swim class and as you can see, he doesn't look to thrilled in two of these shots.  Margie (the instructor) had him go under for the first time and poor little guy, sniffed the water when he went under! So, that wonderful burning sensation when you have water go up your nose...that is what happened to him.  But as you can see after a few tears, he's good.

He is such a faker....

He couldn't even squeeze out one single tear in this hissy fit.

He loves that he can sit by himself

He can reach so many more things now.  We just have to be careful of the occasional face-plant.

Oh, to be so limber...

In remarking this limberness of his, I said that it would be nice.  Mommy said, "Watch" and she did the same thing.  I would need a shot of tequila or morphine to do that.  Probably both.

Little fishie

Mommy has enrolled Camden into weekly swim lessons.  Yes, you'll be seeing more of him in the pool.
