He's cool

B-a-n-a-n-a-s!

This is the little guy's first taste of food other than Mommy's milk.  He loves him some nanners.

Closeness

Mommy and Camden shared special times together although Camden doesn't understand it yet.  Her plans are to have Camden enjoy the same vacation spot she did as a child.  Starting this year.

First time fishin'

Papa took Camden, Mommy, and Daddy out fishing early one morning on vacation.  After the first fish was caught, Daddy brought Camden over to take a look at it in the net.  That fish didn't want anything to do with a young baby being so near by and Fishy started flapping around in the net.  Flapped so hard that it's tail slapped Camden on the cheek!  Fish slime....oh!

Ho hum

This was Camden's first experience in Yellowstone Park and the lodge where we had lunch.  He saw the famous Old Faithful erupt and was not impressed.

We are not Savages, you know

Not quite a roman tub, but Camden's used to bathing in Mimi's kitchen sinks.

Bypass crawling

Camden loves to stand up; his legs are soooo strong.  I'm sure that there will be NO crawling.  From laying in our arms to running around will be his mode of transportation.

He's the first mate

Little one here seems to enjoy being on the boat.  And he doesn't laugh when his daddy or uncle fall wakeboarding either. 

It's camping time!

Camden's not quite sure exactly what all this excitement is about camping.  Papa sure is excited about camping with him though!

Dimples

Let's see....he has dimples in his cheeks, elbows, knees, hiney.  He pretty much has dimple dimples.

New fangled things these days

See this Y shaped blue thing-a-mabob on Camden's thing-a-mabob diaper? That passes for diaper pins these days. They attach much like an Ace bandage attaches. So much simpler to use. And no fear of sticking the baby or yourself with the pin!

He's ready

Camden has a brand new kids sleeping bag.  Complete with moose pillow.  He's ready for camping and for sleep overs.

A reminder

As most of you know by now, the whole kit and kaboodle family packs up and heads to the Grand Tetons every year. That time is coming up. And because we'll be in the FOREST, wifi is hard to come by. So that being said, there may be a few missed days of the blog. If that happens, I'll try to double post for you.

Play time

I've been putting HRH into this little seat and he's starting to get the hang of sitting up by himself.  Here he's watching me (obviously taking a picture of him!) but also, watering the patio plants.  I would flick water drops at him and he was all, "What was that?" and look around, blink, and wait for me to do it again.  I could have done that all day long.  Because that's how I roll.

They're coming to take me away, haha,hehe, to the funny farm!

And if you understand that title, you were around in the 1960's!  This is Camden's straight jacket Miracle Blanket that he gets swaddled into.  And he loves it.  Me?  I would run screaming into the night never to be heard from again.

It's the eyes, I think

Every once in awhile, when he smiles and crinkles up his eyes, I see his Mommy smiling back at me.  Most of the time, Camden takes after his handsome Daddy's side of the family.  But, here in this photo, he brings me back to when she was being held like this by me.

I've got the whole world in my hands.....
