Cousins Bench

Two little cousins on the bench Papa bought for all of them.  Right after this shot, we asked Sammy to give Camden a little smooch.  As she was about to, she noticed that he was drooling or what she calls 'Bubbles'.  She had to wipe his mouth off first.  Typical.

During our Father's Day dinner, Papa took the camera from me and starting taking snap shots of the group.  When I went through them later, I saw this one and muttered, "oh, he had the focus all wrong on this...what the hell?"  And if you look at Mommy and Camden, you will see that she is trying to hang a baby spoon on his nose!!  You will say, "No, that's not what she's doing...she's feeding him something."  No, she's not.  She was trying to hang it on her nose first......

Oh My!  Camden was introduced to several of the Lamaze toys yesterday, including this one.  They rattle, crinkle, and most importantly, taste yummy.  He was entranced!

I got distracted!

Mommy was showing me the new diapers that she's been using on Camden.  Half plastic pants (flashback to the 1960's!) and half disposable into the toilet bowl.  But while she was showing this to me, I kept being drawn to his kissable belly....see?

Babies, babies, and more babies

This is Camden's Auntie Jo.  Actually, she's a Faux Jo.  Or Honorary Auntie.  She and I have known each other since we were juniors in high school.  I don't have any photos of us together back then because cameras weren't around in the Paleozoic period.  Anyway....she just became a Gramma for the very first time with her grandchild being 2.5 weeks older than Camden's latest cousin.  Holding Camden after holding her little grandson was a shock to her.  Camden's a bit heavier.....

Baby grins

Camden's grins come at you a mile a minute!  And as a bonus, he's starting to lift one eyebrow, too.  This is an ability that his Mommie and I share.  No one else in the family can do it!

Taking a little snappy nap

While at the hospital for his cousin's birth, Camden fell asleep and this little taggie blanket made quite the warm cover for him.  Thanks again, Ma Pat!

I watched little Camden the other day and had myself a photo shoot.  I love this photo only because of what my daughter will do when she sees it.

Camden's smiling at everyone and everything right now.  And as usual if he's upright, during that smile a line of drool will appear.  He's such a happy little boy.  And he's very strong in his legs.  I think that he'll be an early walker.  His mommy walked at 9.5 months.

Can I be more cuddly right now?

I absolutely love close up shots of this little guy!  He's beginning the phase of blowing bubbles.  Mommy hates this phase because spit makes her gag.  Poopie diapers don't, but spit does.  We all laugh at her now.
